Fagrifoss

Fagrifoss, a waterfall in Geirlandsá River, is a magnificent waterfall that certainly lives up to its name. It´s on the way to Laki and the road is rugged with rivers that can be treacherous to cross if the water level rises due to lots of rain and warm weather. The view of the waterfall is best from the east side but a bit of a hike is necessary in order to get a good view.

Fagrifoss er í Geirlandsá rétt við Lakaveginn (F206). Best er að keyra yfir ána og skoða fossinn þaðan. Þar er búið að gera göngustíga og palla til að bæta aðgengi og útsýni á fossinn.
